North Warrandyte

North Warrandyte is a rural and residential suburb 25 km north-east of central Melbourne. Its southern boundary is the Yarra River, which separates it from Warrandyte. Until 1994 North Warrandyte and Warrandyte were in separate local government areas (Eltham Shire and Doncaster/Templestowe City) and that remains the position (Nillumbik Shire and Manningham City).

North Warrandyte has hilly, tree-covered terrain. Residents must cross the Yarra River to shopping and most amenities in Warrandyte. There are bus services through North Warrandyte to Eltham and Kangaroo Ground.

North Warrandyte has a linear reserve along the winding Yarra River and another along Stony Creek. There is a CFA station, a preschool centre and a public hall.
